Baki is one of the most violent anime out there. The anime is nothing but violent fights followed by build-ups to another, more violent fight. With its brutal martial arts battles and fierce characters, Baki is a series that packs a punch. To help you get the most out of this adrenaline-fueled anime, you need a proper Baki watch order guide. Whether you’re a newcomer or a long-time fan looking to revisit the series, this guide will ensure you follow the story as intended. As always, I’ve tried to make this watch guide as simple as possible so that beginners can easily understand how to watch and dive right in. So, let’s get started!
Plot Summary
In the tough world of Baki, teenager Baki Hanma isn’t your average student. Baki trains super hard, all the time, because he wants to be stronger than his dad, Yujiro Hanma. Yujiro is the toughest fighter in the world, and he loves to fight! Baki’s story has two main parts. First, he fights in a brutal underground tournament, facing all sorts of opponents with crazy fighting styles. Things get even crazier when super-strong criminals escape from death row and come after Baki for a fight they won’t forget.
As Baki pushes himself harder and harder, he meets other skilled fighters—some who become his friends and some who become his rivals. All of them are stepping stones on his path to becoming as strong as his dad. Years later, Baki joins a super important competition called the Maximum Tournament. Here, the best fighters in the world battle it out to see who’s number one. This tournament is more than just a competition for Baki, though. It’s a chance to face his own fears and doubts, and maybe even fight his dad, who is super strong and kind of scary.
As the tournament gets tougher, Baki’s desire to win turns into something a little unhealthy. Will he finally get to fight his dad? And if he does, will it change how Baki sees himself and what it means to be strong?
Baki isn’t just about fighting. It’s also about how badly someone wants something, how fighting can be both exciting and dangerous, and how much hard work it takes to be the best. Buckle up for an action-packed ride as Baki tests his limits, faces his fears, and tries to become the strongest fighter ever!
The Baki Anime started with a 1994 OVA, then Baki the Grappler hit the scene in 2001 with two seasons.
